Death
Paul A. Furr, 51, passed away peacefully with his mother and family by his side on Monday March 11, 2024 at his home in Conway, South Carolina. He was born in Columbia, South Carolina on May 4, 1972. Paul attended Camden Military School in Camden, South Carolina where he earned the Top Honor of Student of the Year. After graduation, Paul went on to proudly serve our country in the United States Army. During his time of enlistment, Paul became an expert marksman and received his rifle and parachutist metals. He spent most of his time working on small electronics and was proficient in radio repair. Following Paul's honorable discharge, Paul enjoyed time spent traveling and tinkering on the computer. Paul will be deeply missed. Left to cherish Paul's memory are his parents, Karole K. Jensen and, O. Fayrell Furr, Jr. of Conway, SC; his daughter, Stormy Furr of Conway; sons, William Kyle Furr of Columbia, SC & Paul Holder of Selma, NC; sister, Karolan Ohanesian and her husband, Glenn of Surfside Beach, SC; step-sister, Shannon Bobertz and her husband, Jason of Columbia, SC; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family, and many supportive friends and neighbors. Paul is reunited with his wife, Rhonda Ackerman Furr & his father, Robert A. Landa. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Paul's life will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at 10:00AM at The Well by the Sea, 211 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. Procession will follow to Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 with visitation within the mausoleum from 11:30AM until the committal service at 12:30PM. At the request of the family, please consider memorial contributions in lieu of flowers. Donations in Paul's name may be made to Agape Hospice Care, 3009-B Church St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
