Death

Mrs. Betty Coley, 69, of Pineville, N.C., passed away April 16, 2004. A funeral service was held April 19, 2004, at Independent Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Coley was born Oct. 13, 1934, and was born again Feb. 1, 1971. She was an active and faithful member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Fort Mill. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry H. Coley Sr.; daughter, Debbie C. Brown; son, Pastor Jamie D. Coley; grandchildren, Evangelist Timmy Blue, Carrie B. Hinson, Jamie "Jay" Coley Jr., Jeremy and Jonathan Coley, and soon to be Jackson Coley, Jacob and Joshua Brown; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb and Taylor Blue, Chandler and Breana Hinson; and brothers, Mack McCarver and Boyce McCarver of Indian Land. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry "Jay" H. Coley Jr. Memorials can be made to Blessed Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, 1270 Williams Road, PO Box 459, Fort Mill, SC 29715. Fort Mill Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
