Death
Richard Melvin Furr, Sr., born in Mesa Jan 26, 1936. After much sickness and pain Richard passed away June 3rd 2006. Left to morn are his wife Norma, of 53 years; his sons: Rick and his wife Barbara and Kenneth; granddaughters: Tonya and Kristy; grandson Steven and Maria Furr; and the mother of his grandchildren Linda Furr. Also his great granddaughters: Lilly and Jayden Furr. His sisters: Shirley Tryon and Pam Bolding and her husband Alfred. Richard's mother-in-law Allamay Webb; Norma's sister Cheryl and her husband John Gieske; Also Dodie and Vern Hixon. Richard loved his family, his friends, and his dogs. Richard loved anything to do with guns and enjoyed cowboy action shooting as alias Black Boot. He loved John Wayne movies, the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Rattlers. He worked for Sears for 35 years. We all loved to watch him laugh. Cowboy up darlin'! His pain his gone, thank you Lord. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 9, 2006 at 6:00 PM at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N.
