MOUNT GILEAD — Mrs. Etta Haywood Furr, 77, of East First Street, died Sunday at Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy. Funeral will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Gilead United Methodist Church. Surviving are sister, Mrs. Roy Walker of Rockingham; brothers, W. S. Haywood of Newport News, Va., Frank, Henry and Alton Haywood of Mount Gilead. The family will see friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ingram-McAulay Funeral Home.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, February 19, 1973
