Death

The Funeral Services for Mrs. Ossie "Jewel" Treece Hill will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2005 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Gold Hill, NC, conducted by Rev. Constance Garrett, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 7:00-8:30 PM Friday, April 15, 2005 at Powles Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC. Memorials may be made to St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 4450 St. Stephens Church Road, Gold Hill, NC 28071. Born Oct. 6, 1910 in Stanly County, NC to the late Haughtie & Bessie Hahn Treece. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools and was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Gold Hill, NC and a lifelong member of WELCA. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her Daughter, Bessie Mae Hill, who died Jan. 9, 1936 and by her Husband, Elbert C. Hill, who died Nov. 30, 1978. Survivors: Son: Cletus Oliver Hill, Gold Hill, NC. Daughters: Rachel Culp, Gold Hill, NC Ruth H. Hammill, Gold Hill, NC. Sister: Ruby Arey, Gold Hill, NC. Grandchildren: 11 Great Grandchildren: 17
