Death
Henry A. Despommier III, a retired self-employed commercial artist, died Monday at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 83. Mr. Despommier was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Reynolds Despommier; a daughter, Margaret Despommier Harper; two sons, Henry A. and Philip H. Despommier; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at St. Charles Avenue Baptist Church, 7100 St. Charles Ave. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
