OAKBORO -- The Rev. Larry Linker, 72, 1037 Cross Creek Drive, died Saturday (Jan. 25, 2003) at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. He was moderator of the Stanly Baptist Association for two terms and served at Community Baptist Church, Salisbury, from 1966-1972. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Big Lick Baptist Church. Burial, church cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 tonight, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. At other times the family will be at the home of daughter Donna Furr, 860 Hathcock Glen Drive.
