Death
From Obituaries and Death Notices from Clark County, Arkansas taken from the Southern Standard newspaper, Arkadelphia, AR. A. J. Ross. Death has claimed another old and highly respected citizen of our county in the person of Mr. A. J. Ross, who died at his residence on Sunday night last, aged about 62 years. He has been a resident of this county for 35 or 40 years ... he was buried with Masonic honors by Flannagin Lodge of which he was a worthy member. (Mar. 17, 1877 page 3 column 3)Endnotes
