Death

William Garren "Bill" Harper, 22, died Saturday, April 13, 2002. Born July 3, 1979, in Lancaster, he was the son of Andrew William "Andy" Harper and Suzanne Furr Harper. He was an accomplished craftsman and a jack of all trades. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his parents of the home; a sister, Carmen Andre Harper of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Peggy M. Furr of Lancaster; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Cauthen of Lancaster. He was predeceased by maternal grandfather, Melvin G. Furr; and paternal grandfather, William Harper. Services were held Monday at First Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Revs. Chris Wingard and Sam Thomas, with entombment in Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.
