Death

ROCK HILL — Mrs. Lucile Dabney Clark, 71, 1063 Edwards St., died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, at her home after a long illness. The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God, 1070 Edwards St, with the Revs. Walter G. Dixon and Bernard Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Clark attended Rock Hill High School and Southeastern Bible College. The wife of the Rev. Dr. Walter Clark, pastor of First Assembly of God, Mrs. Clark and her husband served the church for more than 33 years. The two ministered in Plant City, FL., in Joanna and Charleston in South Carolina and during a five-year term as missionaries to Japan, where they set up the Far Eastern Broadcast Network of the Assemblies of God. Surviving are her husband; her son, Ronald Dabney “Rusty” Clark of Rock Hill; two daughters, Sandra Furr Hannon and Jill Clark Green, both of Rock Hill; a grandson reared in the home, H. Leonard Helms Jr. of Rock Hill; three brothers, Thomas Dabney of Asheville, N.C., Frank Dabney of Danville, Va., and Ray Dabney of Meridian, Miss.; four sisters, Matrel Reeves, Elaine Hegwood, Betty Williams and Pat Lorick, all of Rock Hill; and seven other grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the Family Life Center of First Assembly of God, 1089 Edwards St, and other times at the parsonage, 1063 Edwards St. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God, P.O.
