MIDLAND - Mr. Charlie Eugene Efird 70, farmer, died Oct. 24, 1990, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital in Concord. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Colin Furr Efird; son, Gene Efird of Indian Trail; daughters, Mrs. Maxine Crowell of Indian Trail, Mrs. Patricia Roughton; brothers, John Efird of Hattiesburg, Miss., Clyde Efird of Burlington, Hazel Efird, Everette Efird, both of Stanfield, Loyd Efird; half brother, Buren Efird of Concord; stepbrother, Carl Misenheimer of Concord; stepsister, Mrs. Lexie Rogers of Concord. Hartsell is in charge. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund, P.O. Box 246, Midland, N.C. 28107.Obituary published in The Charlotte Observer on Oct 26, 1990.
