Death

Randy Dwain Furr, 66, of Albemarle passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in his home. His funeral service will be at 2PM graveside at Fairview Memorial Park on Monday June 12th, 2023, with Rev. Darrell Huneycutt officiating. The family will receive friends at graveside following the service. Born December 16, 1956, in Stanly County, NC he was the son of Betty Lefler Furr and the late Marshall Dwain Furr. He worked as a truck driver for 43 years. He drove all kinds of trucks but especially loved "Ford" trucks and eating BBQ. In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers Jerry Furr and Ricky Furr (Gina), nephews Ricky Furr Jr. (Rebecca), Travis Furr (Jensen) and Logan Furr, nieces Laura Furr and Lindsey Burleson (Austin), great-niece Zoe Furr, great-nephews Easton Smith, Braxton Smith, Killian Allen and Maverick Burleson. Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Furr family.
