Death
Concord, Oct, 12. — Ill for a month with leukemia (sic), Harold Lee Furr, Jr., of this city, died yesterday morning in the Charlotte sanatorium. He was 14 years old, having been born in Concord, November 24, 1920. He was the son of Harold L. Furr and the late Mrs. Elsie Litaker Furr, and until he became ill was a student in the Concord schools. Besides his father and step-mother, the lad is survived by one sister, Peggy Ann Furr, and a brother, Donald Monroe Furr. Funeral services will be held Sunday.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, October 12, 1935
