Death
Miss Wanda Lynn Furr, age 11, died Monday at 5 p.m. at the O’Berry Center at Goldsboro where she had been a patient for some time. She was the daughter of Wade C. and Hazel Eudy Furr of Route 4, Albemarle. Funeral rites were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Stanly Memorial Chapel, conducted by Rev. W. B. King, Sr. Interment was in the cemetery of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Fred Furr, Jerry Morgan, Douglas Morgan and Irvin Morgan. Born November 16, 1957 in Cabarrus County, she was a member of Love's Grove Baptist Church there. Surviving are her parents; one sister, Kathy Diane of the home; one half-sister, Nancy Eudy; and one half-brother, Mikie James Furr, all of the home. Grandparents are Mrs. Bertha Furr of Albemarle and the late George Furr; and Mrs. Myrtle Eudy of Albemarle and the late Crawford Eudy.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, January 31, 1969
