Death
Patsy Lee Furr McManus, 66, of 687 Hwy. 24/24, Midland, was pronounced dead Thursday, May 5, 1994, upon arrival at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Her funeral was at 2 p.m., Saturday in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland. The Rev. Joe Kiker officiated and entombment was in Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum in Concord. Born in Midland Aug. 5, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Robert Theadore and Mary Smith Furr and was a clerk for A&P Grocery for 27 years. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Locust. Her husband, Greenmoore McManus, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Robert McManus of Stanfield and Ron McManus of Concord, and four grandchildren.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, May 8, 1994
