Death
Mr. William Shane Furr, age 38 passed away Saturday March 9, 2013 at CMC-Northeast. His death was unexpected. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Wilkinson Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 6:00. Pastor Robert Harrington will officiate. Shane was born August 5,1974 in Cabarrus County, son of Rebecca Sherrill Furr Shoe of Concord and the late Randy W. Furr. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In addition to his mother, survivors include his son, Michael Furr of Kannapolis; step-father, Johnny Shoe; sister, Melissa Furr; brother-in-law, Shannon Green; nieces, Madison Peralta, Emily and Ashley Green; grandmother, Mary Furr of Holden Beach and his best friends, Crystal Roach and Randy Biggerstaff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.Concord & Kannapolis Independent Tribune, Concord, North Carolina, March 13, 2013
