Death

FORT MILL -- Mr. Mark Lane Furr, age 26, of Harrisburg Road, Fort Mill, SC died Monday, November 6, 2000 at Carolinas Medical Center as a result of a motorcycle accident. Mr. Furr was born November 21, 1973 in Union County, NC. Mr. Furr attended Indian Land High School. He was employed with Earnhardt Grading Company in Charlotte, NC, and was an avid fisherman and motorcycle rider. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2000 at the Pineville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Dewey Wise and Rev. Phil Eakins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Rock Hill, SC. Mr. Furr is survived by his daughter, Dawn Lovette of Rock Hill, SC; his mother and step-father, Gail and Frank Parnell of Atkinson, NC; his father, Jimmy Furr of Fort Mill, SC; his maternal grandmother, Helen Byers of Fort Mill, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Myrtice Ayer of Williston, SC; and his paternal grandparents, James, Sr. and Muriel Furr of Fort Mill, SC. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2000 at the Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at the home of his grand-mother, Helen Byers, 9711 Blackwelder Road, Fort Mill, SC.
