Death
Lena Jane Huneycutt Furr, 83, of 6210 Corl Road, Concord, formerly of Locust, died at 6:43 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in NorthEast Medical Center. Her funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hartsell Funeral Chapel in Midland. Dr. Kinney Wallace officiated and burial was in Love’s Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born Nov. 6, 1916 in Anson County, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Lindie Dix Huneycutt and was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert Wilson Furr, a son, Wilson Furr, and a grandson, Timmy Furr, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Betty F. Motley of Concord a grandson, Jimmy Furr of Locust; and a great-grandson. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 500 E.
