Cortney Michelle Furr 23 of Albemarle passed away Friday Morning, May 15, 2015. Funeral services will held at 11:00AM Monday, May 18, 2015 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Amanda Wilson will officiate and burial will follow in Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Sunday Evening at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. Cortney was born April 20, 1992 in Stanly County. She was the daughter of Michael Wayne Furr of Badin and Sheila Hinson Furr of Albemarle and attended Southside Church of God. In addition to her parents she is survived by her brother, Brandon Furr and wife Kaitlin, grandparents, Roger and Cathy Hinson and Mike and Kathy Taylor and one nephew Braylen Furr all of Albemarle.
