MIDLAND - Christopher “Chris” Lee Furr, 24, of 2056 Barkley Road, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at his home. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland with the Rev. Duane Ivey and the Rev. Joey Spry officiating. Born Sept. 3, 1980, in Cabarrus County to Archie Dale Furr and Barbara Ann Mingea Furr, he was a salesman and a member of Locust United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Timothy Dale Furr and wife, Brandi, of Huntersville and a grandfather, James R. Mingea, of Concord. Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland is serving the family.Endnotes
