Death
WEST END — Mrs. Willie Mae Furr Greene, 74, of Highway 211 died Thursday in Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at West End United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in West End Cemetery. Mrs. Greene was a homemaker and native of Montgomery County. Survivors are husband, Rudolph L. Greene; daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Melton of Aberdeen and Mrs. Joan Ritter of Asheboro; sister, Mrs. Edna Kellis of Candor; seven grandchildren. The family will be at Lanier-Briggs Funeral Home in Candor 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, December 12, 1987
