Death
KANNAPOLIS —Ira Aubrey Furr, 42, died this morning in Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. A native of Cabarrus County, he was the son of Buford W. and Virginia Canup Furr. Survivors include in addition to his parents, his wife, Geraldine Hart Furr, two sons, Aubrey W. Furr of Harrisburg, and Randy Furr of Baltimore, Md., one daughter, Cynthia Ann Furr of the home; two grandchildren. The body will remain at Lady's Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 until 9. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m at Shadybrook Baptist Church by the Rev. Gilbert Pierce. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Park.Endnotes
