Note E. General Abstract of Greenville County, SC, page 211. Reedy River Membership List. There are references to a James Farr on several pages. I decided that this is not our James Farr/Furr because the Greenville County James data continued in Greenville until 1848.
Note F. Genealogy Lineage Chart. Page 81, but I lost the reference. All I have is a copy of the page. It shows James Farr b 17 Apr 1789, d 19 Sep 1862. Son Thomas Jefferson Farr. The son was born in Greenville, SC. I decided this must be the same James as Note E.
Note G. A Collection of Upper SC Genealogy & Family Records Vol I, page 113, 114. This is also Greenville. There is one or more James Farr’s, but neither seem to fit. James farr purchased land in Greenville in 1839. Also, estate of James Farr administration was 1885. Thomas Jefferson Farr died 1897.

From Cass/Bartow County, GA Abstracts of will book a, b 1836-1922. Will book A page 34, 35, 36FURR, JAMES Cass County 25 August 1846 recorded 05 Oct 1846
wife Caroline Furr Lot 80, 5th District 3rd section West side middle Two Run Creek 160 acres.
son Daniel Lot 80 5th dist 3rd sec East side of the middle Two Run Creek.
Executor: William Freeman, brother-in-law lives on Two Run Creek.
Witness: William D. Hassell, WIlliam Latimer, Arthur Haire.
Old Cass County, (now Bartow) Georgia Deeds, compiled by Belew and Brown, page 71 & 72.
Note: Two Run Creek is North of Cassville. Take 41 North from Cassville. On a 1987 map, looks like Two Run Creek Road is on the right just past Gaddis Road which is on the left and just before Cedar Creek Road which is on the right. Looks like only a mile or so outside Cassville.
