Death

Shanna Nicole Furr, born on April 8, 1991, passed away suddenly on July 19, 2005. Shanna would have been a freshman at Leander High School, and was to be in the marching band; she loved playing her clarinet. During middle school, she made the regional band, and she was also part of the Leander Middle School Cheerleading squad. Her life dream was to be a pediatrician. She loved children. Shanna enjoyed shopping, movies, spending time with her family and friends. She loved life and was always happy. She loved her cat, Alex and was looking forward to getting her new puppy. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Audra A. Myers. She is survived by her mother and father, Steve and Denise Furr of Leander; sister, Candice and brother, Allan; paternal grandparents, Jim and Elsie Furr of Austin, maternal grandmother, Ethel Myers of Liberty Hill, aunts Debbie Wiginton and husband Bobby of Liberty Hill, uncles David Furr and wife Dee of Indiana, Brian Furr of Austin, Don Myers and wife Evelyn of Cedar Park; nieces Aaliyah and Laurel and nephew Kyle, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday July 22, 2005, in Beck Funeral Home l700 E. Whitestone. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hill Park Cemetery.
