Death

Margaret Katherine "Kathy'' Turner, age 57, of Austin, passed away Friday, February 7, 2003, at her home in Lago Vista. Emily West and Bobby Neil "Buffalo'' Cunningham preceded her in death. Margaret dedicated 24 years of her life working with Austin Travis County Humane Society. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Harber; daughters, Kathryn Whitener and husband, William, and Demetra Turner; sons, Earnest E. Furr II and Herbert G. Furr; sister, Cora Caffey; brother, Kelly Harber and wife, Patsy; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2003, at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
