CHARLOTTE - Carolyn Ruth Matthews Furr Villiard, 65, of Charlotte, died Sept. 18, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She is survived by three daughters, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will hold a visitation Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Conover. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the church.Published in the Hickory Daily Record on 9/25/2009
