Death
Edith Furr Bethea, age 86, of Chidester died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Ouachita Nursing and Rehab. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bethea, Jr.; son, James Larry Bethea; granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Bethea; and grandson, Jerry Dean Bethea. She is survived by her son, Bill Bethea of Camden; daughter, Jo Ann Core of Dallas, TX; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Richard Merritt will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Endnotes
