Death
MARKS ~ Services for Daniel Monroe Furr of Marks, who died Tuesday night at the Coahoma County Hospital, were to be held today at 1 30 at the Marks Church of God. Burial was in Marks Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home was in charge. Mr Furr, who was 85, was a retired employee of the True Temper Corp. of Memphis. He moved to Quitman County 10 years ago. He was a member of the Memphis Church of God of Prophecy. He leaves his wife, Mrs Donnie Towrey Furr of Marks and several nephews and nieces.The Clarksdale Press Register, Clarksdale, Mississippi, February 4, 1965
