Death

Billy Joe Goodman MIDLAND -- Mr. Goodman, 73, of 16076 Hopewell Church Road, died Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. Funeral service is 11:00 AM Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM. Reverend Tom Gibbs will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Monroe. The family will meet at the home, 16076 Hopewell Church Road, Midland. Mr. Goodman was born April 13, 1931, a son of the late Clarance Alexander Goodman and the late Nadie Mae Beatty Goodman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, and was employed by Jack's Cookies. Survivors include his wife, Martha F. Goodman of the home; daughter, Tammy G. Love of Monroe, NC; brother, Ray 'Peanut' Goodman of Locust, NC; and grandchildren, Tanna Love, Ryan Love and Madalyn Love. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the family.
