Death
Miss Mary Louise Hansell of Nettleton died Wednesday at 3:20 a.m. at the Aberdeen Hospital after an illness of two weeks. She was 70 [77]. Miss Hansell was born in Monroe County and was a member of one of the pioneer families of Nettleton. She was the daughter of the late G. B. and Elizabeth B. Hansell, and until recently operated the family farm near Nettleton. She was a member of the Nettleton Methodist Church. Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Nettleton Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roy Ryan officiating. Burial was set for the Nettleton Cemetery under the direction of Lann Memorial Funeral Home. Miss Hansell is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lottie Hansell Furr of Aberdeen, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cy Roberts, L. W. Lowe, Joe Wiygul, Frank Sisk, Roy Black and B. G. Coggin, all of Nettleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Taylor Dabbs, S. J. McDuffie Sr., Henry Roberts, Lee Coggin, George Bernard, Gillie Buchanan and Harvey Johnson, all of Nettleton.Endnotes
