Death
Jeane Furr died Saturday, July 10th, 2021 in Durango. Jeane was born the daughter of Willie and Mae Jones on May 13, 1931, in Bourbon, Missouri. Jeane was married to Jim Furr on December 30, 1954. Jeane enjoyed gardening, painting, reading, and caring for all of her family. Jeane was a member of Summit Methodist church in Durango and was active in women's ministry. She had just recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her family. She is survived by her daughters Tracey Palmer (Paul) and Vickie Ezzell (Jim), her grandchildren Craig Palmer, Gavin Palmer, Travis Palmer, Tiffany Tajiani, Jared Ezzell, Nikolas Ezzell, Janessa Webb, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim and her daughter Karin Furr. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Greenmount Cemetery in Durango.The Durango Herald, Durango, Colorado, July 12, 2021
