Death
Leonard "Bubba" Berry Furr of Dallas, Texas was born on January 25, 1951, and passed away into eternal rest with family by his side on September 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Kendell Furr and Mary Lucielle Fielder, and sister, Linda Jeanette Prince. Survivors include his sister Ann Smith, stepmother Juanita Furr, his children, Bryan Furr, Trendi Luna and husband Michael, Tasha Jetton and husband Coy, and his grandchildren, Cory and Kendell Furr, Sophia and Jacob Luna, and Jemma Jewell Jetton. Sweetheart Cup/Solo was Bubba's main place of employment for numerous years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 81 and was an avid shuffleboard player. Bubba also enjoyed car races, golfing, fishing, bowling, honkey-tonks, dancing, football, vanilla malts, and BBQ ribs from Texas Roadhouse! He was well loved by many and will be remembered as a loving Dad, Pops, Pawpaw, and friend. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the American Legion Post 81, 418 E Red Bird Lane, Duncanville, TX 75116 with Mr. Nicky Rivera officiating. Memorial services will also be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Cartwright Baptist Church, 267 County Road 4896, Winnsboro, TX 75494 with Mr. Perry Shirley officiating. Leonard Berry Furr will be laid to rest during a private interment at Maple Springs Cemetery in Leesburg, Tx at a later date. "Dance your heart out in Heaven, Dad! You will be missed!"Endnotes
