Death
Carnell Davis Lawrence, 74, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 18 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Henry, daughter Janet Furr and husband David, son, Tom Lawrence and wife Martha. 4 Grandchildren, Jonathan and Rebekah Furr and Adam and Andrew Lawrence. Sister Gloria Blanchard and husband Preston of Fuquay-Varina and brother Jim Davis and wife Sandra of Cary. Carnell was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining with her husband in "the barn". The family will receive friends at Piney Grove Baptist Church Sunday, October 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 followed by a celebration of life service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be Monday, October 21 at 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Bus Fund" Piney Grove Baptist Church.
