Death
Mrs. Mozelle McAdams Furr, 97-year-old Kosciusko resident, died Sunday at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital following an illness. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Blackwell, the Rev. Sammy Ray and the Rev. Guy Moore officiating. Burial was in Parkway Cemetery. Mrs. Furr, a lifelong resident of Kosciusko, was a member of the Jerusalem Baptist Church and was active in church and civic affairs as long as her health permitted. She was the widow of T. D. Furr. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Harriet Phillips of Pine Bluff, Ark.; 11 nephews and nieces and a number of great and great-great nephews and nieces. Serving as pallbearers were Douglas McAdams, Douglas McAdams Jr., John McAdams, James McAdams, Charles McAdams and Harry Edwards.The Star-Herald, Kosciusko, Mississippi, December 20, 1979
