Death

Udelle Harper Stephens, 89, Fairburn, died March 17, 2004. She was born Nov. 11, 1914 in Smith County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Stephens. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Steve Batts and the Rev. Dr. Oscar Cope officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include a daughter, Kay and Bobby Furr, Fairburn; sisters, Bina White, and Minnie Mae Smith, both of Fairburn; granddaughters, Lisa and John Harkins, Fayetteville, and Kim and Daniel Steadham, Palmetto; and great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Danielle Steadham, and Jack and Bonnie Harkins. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
