Death
STANFIELD - Mrs. Audrey Mae Tarlton Furr 69, of 508 Love's Chapel Rd., Stanfield, NC, died March 10, 1998, at her home. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, with the Rev. Don Jordan officiating. Interment will be in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Stanfield. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 1998, at the funeral home. Born in Mecklenburg County, NC, Mrs. Furr was a retired textile worker and was a member of Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Linda F. Mullis of Locust, NC, and Mrs. Joy F. Tucker of Stanfield, NC; mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Carpenter of Stanfield, NC; one brother, Alfred Dale Tarlton of Peachland, NC; and grandchildren, Scott L.
