Death

CONCORD - Christina Mae Furr, 22, of 5150 U.S. Highway 601 S., Concord, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Concord. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The Rev. Darrell Honeycutt and the Rev. Terry Seamon will officiate. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. At other times they will be at the home of her grandmother, also 5150 U.S. 601 S., Concord. Born Aug. 9, 1981, in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of Henry Furr of Stanfield and Susan Dianne Plott Dunbar of Concord. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Concord. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepmother, Ila Furr of Stanfield; her sister, Chasity William and her husband Scott of Concord; two brothers, Shannon Horn and his wife Heather and Chad Horn, all of Stanfield; two grandmothers, Julia Plott of Concord and Mary Alice Furr of Stanfield; two nieces, Madison William and Albany William, both of Concord; and a god-daughter, Zoe Furr of Albemarle. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is handling the arrangements.
