Death
HOPE MILLS - Bobby Martin Furr Sr., 63, of 5561 Jackson St., died Sunday, April 4, 2004, in Good Hope Hospital in Erwin. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Church of the Bridegroom by the Rev. Clyde Lowery. Burial will be in Hope Mills Cemetery. Mr. Furr is survived by his wife, Jean Furr of the home; two sons, Bobby Furr Jr. of Fayetteville and Frederick Furr of Hope Mills; six daughters, Debbie Stock and Frances Jones, both of Hope Mills, Brenda Murefo of Wilmington, Joyce Yow of Sanford and Denise Few and Linda Few, both of Fayetteville; two sisters, Magaline Furr of Southern Pines and Brenda Elizabeth of Vass; five brothers, J.W. Furr of Florida, Joe Furr Jr., James Furr and Melvin Furr, all of Vass, and Thomas Furr of Southern Pines; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home in Hope Mills.The Fayetteville Observer, Fayetteville, North Carolina, April 6, 2004
