Death
Thomas Edward Morris, 65, of Casa, died Sunday (Jan. 4, 2004) at his home. Born Oct. 8, 1938, in England, a son of the late Elbert and Jewel Furr Morris, he was a retired welder for Deltic Farm and Timber of Ola, a member of Ola Free Will Baptist Church, attended Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church and was a Free Will Baptist minister for 30 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Jerry Morris. Survivors are his wife, Sally Alexander Morris; two sons, Ronny Morris of Vilonia and Wayne Morris of Mountain View; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Bobby Joe Morris of Harrisonville, Mo., and Kenneth Pettit of Plainview; and two sisters, Sharon Hearing of Plainview and Kathy Pettit of Dardanelle. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Sonny Stone officiating. Burial will be in Needmore Cemetery in Casa by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.Endnotes
