Death
JACKSON, MS. - Mrs. Christine Prescott Furr, 76, a resident of Jackson and a former resident of Pike County, MS. died Wednesday in Hinds General Hospital in Jackson after a brief illness. Visitation is underway until 10:00 tonight in Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home of Jackson and will continue there at 8:00 a.m. Friday until services at 1:00 p.m. in Baldwin Chapel. Dr. Byron Malone will officiate and burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. A native of Magnolia, Mrs. Furr was a homemaker and a member of Daniel Lake Memorial Church of Jackson. Survivors include her husband, James N. Furr, Sr., of Jackson, one son, James N. Furr, Jr. (Sonny) and daughter-in-law Bobbye Robinson Furr of Jackson, one grandson, Jimmy Furr, one granddaughter, Lisa Furr and one great-grandson, Jamie Furr; four brothers, Wallace Prescott of New Orleans, Harrison Prescott of Hattiesburg, Percy Prescott of Magnolia and George Prescott of Seminary, and one sister, Elise Pierce of Felder's Campground.Endnotes
