Death
FORT VALLEY — Lilly Furr Campbell, 89, of 508 Charles Drive died Saturday in a local nursing home after an extended illness. Born in Crenshaw County, Ala., she lived in Fort Valley for the past seven years, moving from Kathleen. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was the widow of Grover C. Campbell. Survivors: daughter, Myra C. Griffin of Milledgeville; sisters, Lola Capps of Columbus and Orena Castleberry of LaVerne, Ala.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Monday in Bonaire Cemetery. The Rev. Peter Ventura will officiate. Visitation: 7 until 8:30 tonight in Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, Perry.The Macon Telegraph, Macon, Georgia, September 8, 1991
