Death
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Stanton Furr, 78, widow of Paul Furr, of 1024 Westchester Boulevard, Charlotte, NC, died Thursday, September 26, 1991, at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 28, from the McEwen Charlotte Chapel, with entombment in Sharon Memorial Mausoleum. Mrs. Furr was born May 4, 1913 in Clio, SC, daughter of the late Clinton B. and Fannie Fowler Stanton. She lived most of her life in Charlotte, NC. She retired from Oriental Restaurant after 34 years service. Survivors include seven nephews and three nieces. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital, c/o Oasis Temple of the Shrine, 604 Daniel Burnham Way, Charlotte, NC 28213.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, September 28, 1991
