Death
Doris Marie Crafford Furr departed this life to be with her Lord Friday morning, July 6, 1990 at her home. She was born in Winston-Salem, September 8, 1935 to Mattie and E. F. Crafford. Surviving are one sister, Betty Larrimore; three brothers, Homer, Harvey and Melvin Crafford, all of Winston-Salem; eight nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews. She was a dedicated member of Goldfloss Baptist Church. She retired from AT&T after 35 years of service. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Vogler’s Main Street Chapel by Rev. Thomas D. Flynn, Rev. B. A. Carroll and Rev. Robert D. Blackburn. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Vogler’s Main Street Chapel.
