Death
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Gurtha McMaster Furr, 90, of 109 Kitchin St. died Friday at Alamance County Hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Grove Park Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Dr. Roy P. Taylor and the Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. She was a native of Randolph County. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Mrs. Ruby Bolick of Burlington, Mrs. Lucy Bondshu of California; sons, Arthur R. Lane of Danville, Va., Walter E. Lane of Burlington; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today and at other times at the home of the son, Walter Lane of 109 Kitchin St.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, July 23, 1978
