Death
ALBEMARLE — Mrs Annie Veatrice Furr, 71, of 1739 W Main Ave died Tuesday at her home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church by the Rev Leroy P Gwaltney III. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. The family will be at Lefler Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. Mrs Furr was born Feb. 17, 1910, in Stanly County, a daughter of the late Paul and Kate Dry Eudy. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband,William Lee Furr, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas E Dixon of Albemarle, two brothers, Arthur Eudy of Albemarle and Sanford Eudy of California, two grandchildren and six great-grand-children.Endnotes
