LOCUST — Timothy Edward Furr, 22, pipe foundry employee,died Wednesday in a motorcycle-automobile accident. Funeral is 4 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. Survivors are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Furr; brother, Jimmy Furr; grandmother, Mrs. Lena Furr of Norwood. STANFIELD — A Locust man, 22-year-old Timothy Edward Furr, was killed Wednesday morning when his motorcycle was hit by a car on Highway 200, the Stanly County Highway Patrol reported. Trooper J. M. Atwater said Furr had nearly stopped his Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the highway when it was struck from the back by car driven by Audrey Wayne Mullis, 20, of Route 2, Oakboro. Mullis was charged with driving under the influence, exceeding a safe speed and death by motor vehicle.
