Marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Olin T. Furr were married Saturday, Aug. 30 at York, S. C. The bride, the former Deanna Feaster Fletcher, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Fletcher of Midland. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Thad Furr of Concord and Thad Furr of Baltimore, Md. He is employed by Hickland Construction Co. in Charlotte.

Death

Mr. Olin Thaddeus Furr, 45, self-employed brick mason, died April 19, 1986. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at Hartsell Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife, Rose; sons, Olin Furr Jr. of Monroe, Josh Furr of Florida, Brock Furr, Brandon Furr, both of Pembroke; daughter, Miss Brooke Furr of Pembroke; parents, Thaddeus Furr of Bristol, Tenn., Mrs. Ruth Blackwelder; brothers, Jerry Furr of Westfield, N.J., Larry Furr of Midland, Bobby Furr, Ricky Furr, Dennis Furr; sisters, Mrs. Joyce Foster of Tampa, Mrs. Tonda Green.
