Miss Joyce Ann Furr, 55, of 916 Academy St. died Thursday at home. Funeral is 12:30 p.m. Saturday at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte chapel. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Miss Furr was a former secretary for Mosaic Tile Co. and a Mecklenburg County native. Survivors are mother, Mrs. Kate Furr; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Graham of Shallotte, Mrs. Barbara Cook, Mrs. Rose Civil.
