Gregory Gene Furr, 24, of 400 Avery St., died Sunday in an auto accident. Funeral 2 p.m. today, Stoney Point Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Burial, Big Rockfish Presbyterian Church cemetery, Hope Mills. Surviving: wife, Mrs. Rebecca Williford Furr; son, Robert Furr of the home; mother and stepfather, Patricia and Thomas Singletary of Fayetteville; father and stepmother, Gene and Kathy Furr of Schyullkil Haven, Pa.; sisters, Ms. Donna Furr and Mrs. Terri Jackson, both of Fayetteville. Gregory Glenn Furr, 24, of West End died when the car he was riding in ran off the road on a N.C. 73 and hit a tree about six miles north of Pinehurst in Moore County, troopers said. The accident occurred Sunday at 1:50 p.m.
