CONCORD — Mary Scarborough Furr, 78, of Concord, died Wednesday in a Concord hospital. Surviving are her husband, Zeb Furr; a daughter, Betty Rogers of Charlotte; a son, Buck Watson of Charlotte; two stepsons, Roy I. Furr of Deep Gap and Colon Furr of Minka; two sisters, Vida Stamey of Kannapolis and Bernice Shaffer of Concord; a brother, C.W. Scarborough of Cannon, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday in Concord under the direction of Wilkinson Funeral Home.Endnotes
